Today I would like to post how to do a simple blow out and tease. I would like to thank Tanya for being model! :)
What you'll need:
1. Leave-In conditioner
2. Hair Clips
3. Round brush w/ hair dryer or two-in-one hair dryer (not shown)
4. Comb
5. Hairspray
6. Optional: 2" round curling iron
How To:
Step 1: After washing your hair and slightly drying your hair, put a small amount of leave-in conditioner in your hair. This will condition your hair and seal the ends for heat styling.
Step 2: Start your blow out from the bottom (near your neck) and work your way up...use clips to hold your hair up.
Step 3: Using your round brush and hair dryer or two-in-one dryer (this is SO much easier than trying to hold a hair brush AND a dryer at the same time); on low, start at your roots to lift them up and give them volume and pull your hair to straighten your and slightly curl the ends. Continue this layer by layer until all your has been slightly lifted and the roots, straightened, and looks sleek.
Step 4: To add some more volume to your hair, you can tease your hair at the crown. You can do this by starting from the front of you hair (near the forehead) and working back. Start will small sections.
Step 5: Back comb your hair as much as you feel comfortable - the more you tease, the higher and bigger the volume.
Step 6: After each section, hairspray that section at the roots ( DO NOT soak your hair with hair spray...this will weigh it down) and keep it filled upside down until you tease your hair to the top of your crown.
Step 7: After teasing your hair, flip it back over and smooth out the top. If you feel your ends are not curled enough, you can use a large sized curling iron to add more curl.
And here it is!!! Tanya before and after!
